SMU PRSSA is hosting the 5th Annual Communications Career Workshop on November 15 from 6-8 p.m. Get your resumes ready, because this is an event you will not want to miss!
Last year we had over 20 professionals come to our event, ranging from Burson-Marsteller to the American Heart Association. We always have a very diverse group of professionals to ensure that every student who attends is able to network with somebody in the industry they are interested in.
At the career workshop we conduct resume reviews, speed interviews, and round table discussions. This is an excellent way to get feedback on your resume and polish your interview skills. Some of the round table discussions last year included financial communication, the importance of social media, what to do after graduation, and much more.
We also have a very exciting keynote speaker that will be revealed in the upcoming weeks before the workshop!
This is an excellent networking opportunity, so all of those students looking for internships or full-time jobs should definitely plan to be there.
