SMU PRSSA hosted their 5th annual Career Workshop, which invited Keynote speakers from the US Olympic Gymnastics Communications Team, as well as numerous professionals from marketing, sports PR, fashion media, crisis communications and many more! These communications professionals represented companies from the Dallas Cowboys, Neiman Marcus, Buzzell Company, to name a few. In addition there were round tables, speed interviews, and even resume reviews.
The event was a great way to connect with communications professionals and to learn more about the industry in a hands-on approach. Through out the night students were able to ask questions about the industry and even had networking opportunities for future internships.
