SMU’s News and Communications Department of Public Affairs is looking for interns for Spring 2012. Students will add public relations materials to their portfolio and network with professionals in media relations.
Responsibilites include:
Writing press releases for media distribution and media pitching.
Assisting in filing and organization of media coverage.
Conduct media outreach to students about upcoming events.
Assist with Tate Lecture Series media relations.
The position pays $9 an hour for 12 hours weekly for 32 weeks.
