Interested in learning more about the world of PR? Eager to receive one-on-one training from PR professionals in the Dallas area?
PRSA Dallas is hosting their Pro-Am Day on Friday, March 16, 2012. Pro Am Day connects students with experienced public relations professionals through a shadowing opportunity followed by an educational luncheon program. Students will be paired with an experienced practitioner during the morning to gain valuable public relations insight and establish network contacts through this unique mentoring opportunity. Afterward, all participants are invited to the PRSA Dallas luncheon for more mingling and to see a panel of North Texas communicators headlining, “The State of Public Relations.”
Online registration for students will open in mid-February and will cost $25 per student. Register online at www.prsadallas.org and then forward your confirmation email to Sana Merchant at SanaMerchant89@gmail.com before 5 p.m. on March 9. Your email should include your name, classification, school, email address, phone number and shadowing preference (agency, corporation or nonprofit). Pairing is on a first-come, first-served basis.
