Boulevard PR’s client Cougars vs. Kittens, LLC (CVK) held its first annual Cougars vs. Kittens Kickball Tournament on March 31. It was a perfect day at the Randol Mill Ball Park Fields and ended with a battle to the end between the champion cougar and champion kitten team.
The cougar team, Stray Cats, came away with the title of Cougars vs. Kittens Tournament Champions. The team was composed of women who did not even know each other before that morning.
The kitten champion team was composed of women from a co-ed WAKA(spell out) team. All of the team members were good sports and their team captain ended up kneeling down in front of the team presenting them with the game ball.
All five teams that participated in the in the tournament said they had tons of fun and were planning on coming back next year. Amy Cobb, founder of CVK, is already making plans for the next CVK tournament.
The teams raised over $5,500 from donations from co-workers, friends and family. The tournament was lucky enough to get a autographed Kickball by Dirk Nirvinski to raffle off along with several other prizes.
“Working on this event was so much fun and a great experience” said Elizabeth Zamora, account executive for Boulevard PR.
